Wtf how? Why? Those towels must be all moldy and probably stink the room up at that point.

There's no way 2 million people don't notice the smell. Do they just really don't give a fuck? Like how does wiping your body with something that smells like death compute for them?

Some will probably retort "so what? they've got character". So often I've seen "character" used as a bailout for something this country does horribly.

That place looks run-down? Nah, it has character.
Dual-tap sinks where you can choose between freezing or scalding water to wash your hands? Perfectly fine, it builds character.
