China: Message understood, we will build our own fully independent tech stack including resources not under western control or subject to sanction in order to protect ourselves, our economy, and free trade we do with others.

Exports to China from US/west proceed to plummet

US: What the fuck? China isn't playing by the rules, China isn't trading with us, China won't buy things from us, China is being hostile.
