Welcome Rexxitors, to the new home of r/nonbinary and r/enby

This is a space for people of all ages who feel that they don't fit into our culture's gender binary. Share stories, experiences, questions, images, art, poetry - anything to help you through the journey of expressing the real you and meeting others who are like you.

Rules

-No gatekeeping. The foundation of this sub is inclusivity. Please don't judge others in their gender journey. We don't need any more obstacles to understanding ourselves.

-No "guess my AGAB" or "do I look nonbinary" posts. We do not allow posts that ask anyone to guess OP's AGAB/assigned gender at birth, whether it is as the main point of the post or a side-note, etc. If you see these posts, please report them to us.

-No NSFW content. Remember that this is an all-ages space, there are kids here.

-Don't post hate speech, even if it was directed at you. It's okay to ask for support after a hateful interaction, but please don't post screencaps of what was said.

-Don't reveal personal information. Posting anyone's phone numbers, physical/mailing addresses, email, and social media handles are all forbidden - even your own. If you want to connect with another user outside of Lemmy, message them privately.

-No shitposting or trolling. Keep content here relevant to nonbinary topics/experiences, and don't be purposefully inflammatory.

It really feels like the best way to describe my gender. Something I've been working out is I needed my body to be female but my gender isn't woman. It's very comfy girl coded although sometimes I dress a bit androgynous and am like :sparkle: gender :sparkle:.

Also I'm a dragon because fuzzy creature good and also gender.

So like comfy girl fuzzy dragon genderqueer.

I had to get my body mostly right before I could really feel at home in my gender and that's interesting to me.

Hello, I recently just created an Agender community on Lemmy, I'm posting here to hopefully try and promote this community in case there are any Agender people or people curious about Agender who would be interested in checking out this community.

The Agender community is at [email protected] if you want to check it out, the community is also included as a lemmyverse link in the post.

If this type of promotion isn't okay please let me know and I won't do it again

Firstly, buuuuump! hehehehehehehe

Secondly, so, my trip to enbyness has taken a bit of a circuitous route, right? It took ages to realize that, hey, y'know... maybe I don't have to be a guy. I can be a girl! Yaaay! Finally free! So I hatched and be'd a girl for a while (... where did the past decade go, please help me get it back). Well, I kindof always expected I'd end up creeping enby-ward at least a bit but recentlish I got to having some feels and it's been getting to the point where I'm occasionally getting bits of a second dose of that hatchy euphoria. Turns out, I can wear through the gender hangups and start to just be me, right? So, double-yay! Kinda feels like I'm cheating, honestly ๐Ÿ˜… Most people only get to hatch zero times, and even lucky trans-critters mostly only get to hatch once. So here I am, delightedly double-dipping discovery, digging into my 'dentity and hoping maybe somecritter around here has a story to share :3 That or I'm just yapping into the void. Even still, maybe I can fan the lingering enbers (harharhar, see what I did there? :D ) of this community!

Also any neat tricks for finding/committing to names/colour schemes/avatars would be nice :3 Actually I should probably just have another poke at making an avatar and just go for it but eep >.<; Triple-eep at making a top-level post ๐Ÿ™€

So, I've been going to the gym every week since October '23, which I enjoy. However, I've noticed my arms are getting thicker and my shoulders are looking broader, and it's making me feel pretty dysphoric. At the minute, I'm just wearing baggy jumpers and hoodies, but it'll be too hot for that in a fee months' time. So, are there any AMABs out there who can give me some tips to shift my appearance away from "man mode"?
