Lol you're still slithering in the fediverse

Yep! Looks like your little schemes of tracking me, spreading lies about me being a paid Russian asset, and betting on me disappearing after the election didn’t work.

Not only am I still here, but I’ve spread out across multiple instances to make sure I can’t be silenced by people like you. Didn't even have to change my username.

And by the way, I was right. Trump was rising in the pre-election polls—remember when you all said I was just posting lies and propaganda when I shared those articles?

Maybe instead of trying to censor voices, you all should have focused on actually winning votes. lol

Oh, and I’m still glad I voted third party. Funny how I’m now seeing all over Lemmy that people are talking about supporting third parties because they feel the Dems let them down.

How’d that whole “let’s keep track of Universal Monk and brigade downvote him” plan work out for ya? Oh wait, it didn't!

I'm still posting whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want. Just like I said I would. hahahahahaha

Thanks, friend! :)

Interesting how your mask came off the minute trump won just like everyone said it would.

You just said the community effort which successfully got you banned didn't work. So unless you've got some secrets to admit to outright instead of just implying that, looks like you're absolutely wrong about that. You went from posting every 10 minutes literally to like once every 10 days.

I haven't changed my posting frequency at all, friend. Not. One. Bit. I actually post more, because I'm almost totally retired now--I volunteer one day a week at my old job now. Pension forever, baby! I can't be canceled or stopped.

What are these big, bad "secrets" you think I need to admit?! lmao

I wasn't successfully "banned" at all from anywhere. I'll keep on posting anything I want. And anywhere I want. You didn't silence me at all.

And you know it. And it's delicious. :)

Sorry, friend. You can't silence people on Lemmy. Welcome to the fediverse. And don't worry, I know you'll report this post to the admins and try yet again to get me banned from everywhere.

But luckily not all admins believe in censorship like you do. Diversity of opinions is what makes the fedivers so awesome. It's what I love about Lemmy.

Thanks, friend! :)

I didn't read this but great to know you still have no shred of a life

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 day ago

Oh you read it. LMAO

I'm still here. Posting anything I want, anywhere I want.

Thanks! :)

A lot of companies have pulled out of DEI efforts but NOT ONE has said it was because the efforts wasted money or brought in bad people or actually did anything negative to the company.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 4 days ago

And why do you think that is?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Translation: Trump won, so obviously we don't have to pretend anymore.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 4 days ago

They shouldn’t have pretended in the first place. That’s the whole reason behind the pushback and disdain for "woke" policies. It’s obvious that many companies do it just to appease a vocal minority because they think it will boost profits. How about we stop that, regardless of the choice?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Kowtowing dogs, the lot of them

[–] [email protected] -2 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (2 children)

And yet, everyone keeps going there. Let’s be honest, they only did it because they thought it was what everyone wanted while the Dems were in power.

Now they’re changing it again because the leadership is shifting. Why can’t companies just make decisions based on what they actually want to do, without pandering to politics?

That could mean embracing DEI initiatives or ignoring them entirely—I’m fine with either choice. It’s the performative gestures, done just for appearances, that bother me.

I will say that the Bud Light fiasco was the most irritating to me. They literally did it just because that's the wave they thought people were going for. Soooo funny when that backfired bigtime.

You need to understand that the one and only value corporations have is profits. No matter what their image is, what narratives they try to pander to, how they try to position themselves on social ans political issues.

The underlying motive is always and without fail to make more money for the owner class. Anything else is performative in an effort to increase said profits in some way. There is nothing a company "wants to do" except rake in money.

Agreed. I just find it amazing some people don't know it.

I agree with you by one million percent.
