Carney should avoid stepping in this trap. If he wants anything to do with government in Canada he should run for something after the shit has hit the fan.
On the other hand, as a Canadian I'm not sure I want Carney to be the economic subject matter expert in an upcoming government. He's not an idiot but I think he's more on the neoliberal side than Keynesian/neo-Keynsian and we really don't need any more of that. So perhaps I'd like him to step into this trap and get shit all over him as it hits the fan. π€
