while true, but you can't buy UT or Unreal from gog anymore, the games were delisted ages ago.

You can still download them from your collection if you own them, but new purchases are not possible.

They're still scum of the earth for fortnite but I can appreciate this action.

What's wrong with Fortnite?

If it does detect that you're running it on Proton, then it'll say that it is unsupported. >!Why the fuck just Epic can't fork Proton and adjust it to their games?!<

Because half the way they operate now is solidly based on doing the opposite of what valve is doing.

They wont support Proton because its made by Valve and little Timmy hates valve.

It abused dark ux patterns to an extreme as well as engaging in a lot of psychological abuse to extort money from users.

Yeeeeeh… more than most mobile games, which is quite insane!

So did Valve but apparently that's fine.

Is this about cs:go skins or is it something else. I don't remember valve being deceptive (Not Defending Just Asking 🙄)

TF2 hats, CS:GO and the scammy gambling sites it enabled, DOTA2.

None of this is really better than what Fortnite does, and there's probably no big players in the gaming market with clean hands when it comes to this kind of thing. The successes take all the attention, and Fortnite wasn't even that big until they dropped the Battle Royale formula into it after the sudden popularity of PUBG.

I can’t disagree with you

But the degree to which they fuck(ed) with people’s minds is wildly different.
