Even if trump wins I doubt he’d succeed in trying. Even if trump wanted to, I doubt it would work.

It's genuinely terrifying that anybody could think something this naive. C'mon.

If Trump gets in again he won't be following rules, he'll be issuing orders.

He'll issue the order and the tv station will take it to court and the court will say this falls under freedom of speech.

Also it isn't like it's a one day deal.

Each side will ask for continouance for one thing or the other and it will be there for years in the courts. By the time it gets anywhere trump won't even be in office.

What it costs to keep it in court and the delays compared to the free advertising of Trump even trying. Think about what will happen. Tons of people will watch Stewart just as a way to protest. More people watching equals more money. The court cost is way less. The tv station will count it as a cost of doing business and keep him on the air.

Trump may try. But he will fail on this one.
