The next escort duty after reading this post had Dotty run over BET-C while the two of us were already under heavy attack from a swarm. I got worried for a second cause BET-C can hit quite hard in higher hazard levels, but thanks to Dotty we only had to reboot BET-C and then got her great firepower to help us :).

One day, I'll have my own drilldozer, I'm telling ya.

Wow, super lucky you had Iron Will! Dotty plotting revenge for not bringing her head back?

I'm also playing on Linux, runs great!

Is that KDE? Probably more common here but nice to see a fellow Linux DRG player.

On that note, is it just my device or does it feel like the game squeezes more resources out of yours unlike windows? On Linux I can play on high display settings in my old computer in exchange for battery and heat but in Windows it just begs me for the lowest possible me settings

Yes, it's KDE on Garuda Linux ^^. I'm not sure how well it compares to running on Windows, but I'd say that it runs quite well on my somewhat bad PC, given that it is an unholy amalgamation of spare parts from my friends PC's, hehe. It runs at approx 60FPS on mid settings

I haven't played drg on windows but on the deck it goes from 20-60fps on ultra (settled on 40 on custom though) so I would imagine it not to take much more to get a stable 60. One thing I don't know if there is an equivalent for on Linux is the GPU driver settings overrides. If they work the way I think they do, that would let you adjust things the game doesn't, depending on the engine probably.
