A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Borderlands 4 has been announced for 2025. For a multitude of reasons, I'm more than happy to sit idly by and wait for a discounted game of the year edition or similar that includes the entirety of their dlc collection because you know there will be paid dlc. It's borderlands.

Heh I'm literally playing Borderlands 3 for the first time right now, picked it up for $5 in the current Steam sale. Great game for $5!

is Gearbox still in terms with Epic? It'll probably be in ~~holding cells~~ Epic store for a year anyway, and then it'll move to other stores with ULTIMATE EDITION -dlc bundle, with another dlc planned later on which isn't in ULTIMATE EDITION. Wasn't that the play with 3 as well?

Unless 4 does something truly new for the series, I'm probably not going to get it, at all. Kinda feel like I'm done with the series.

I most definitely have my gripes. I held off on bl3 until they released 'Pandora's box', which got me two of the games I'd been holding out on, and most if not all the dlc for those games. Considering I haven't done all the dlc in bl3 I have yet, and don't currently have the game installed, I think I have plenty to do while waiting to see is 4+dlc is worth anything.
