Kids, if this is your idea of fun, ask your parents to buy you a power washer and go door to door offering your services. At least make some money doing it.

I feel you. Honestly it's weird to me that I enjoy this game, but sometimes I need a bit of white noise and the feeling that I'm getting something done. Also I'm sure my knees would give out after a few days of physical labour.

People aren't playing it because they thing power washing is fun. The people that enjoy these games like them because they like seeing things clean and organized. Something that they struggle to achieve in real life. The satisfaction of completing something 100% is euphoric to some people.

I have the game and a real powerwasher. The game is a lot more enjoyable, though less productive.

This sounds like a good opportunity for augmented or mixed reality. Show some extra grit or whatever and gamify the real washing.

Power washers are way more expensive though.

Also it's not comparable to doing something on a computer where you can switch off at any time.

You can also accidentally break stuff with a real power washer.
