Years of brutal neoliberal capitalism combined with the left’s betrayal have led to widespread political demoralization.

Right wingers aren't friends of workers. Far from it. If you vote right, you vote against freedom.

TIL that US companies are rolling out a 6 day workweek too

Is it a typo? We're supposed to be moving to 4.

As a poster child of neoliberal transformation, Greece is the first country in Europe to introduce the six-day workweek, and it comes at a time when other European countries have already adopted or tested, with overwhelmingly positive results, a four-day workweek system.

Edit: its not a typo. Wow.

As much as I love Greek culture, I think I'm going to stay right here. I will use the long(er) weekend to visit Greece and her hard-working people.

To think social progress is not coming from Europe anymore...

China should impose a four-day work week just to dunk on the imperial core.

Or maybe instead of dunking China should do something that actually helps the workers of greece, who might need all the solidarity they can get.

China never will lol, they’re suppressing wage growth in the middle and lower classes to find businesses and corporations. The capitalist infection has spread to ‘socialist’ countries too, unfortunately.

That may be true, but has nothing to do with work hours and rights in China. They are opposite of great.

Most of the rural poverty problems in china are still from the outdated Hukou system. It's probably the biggest hurdle China has to much more universally distributed wealth in the country.
