What the camera sees vs something closer to what the eye sees. https://imgur.com/a/I3nZ3uW

The least blurry, and most colorful shots I got. Taken from Tacoma, Washington.

It was cloudy where I live, but a friend of ours stayed up late and got to see some.

This is one of the better ones I got. From Oregon USA.

There was a blue-green glow visible through the clouds, there pink one wasn't so visible here in Poland at about 22:30, fortunately the night mode on my phone was able to pick it up

Not visible to the eye, didn't realise the camera was picking it up at the time or I would have gone outside to get a better photo. It peaked at 3am unfortunately.

I'd say you're not south enough.

Nice range of colours!

I'm so annoyed at the timing of this, I'm in a place far enough north to get decent views of it in winter (but it is always cloudy). Right now we don't get full night so at 1am, the peak of darkness, it wasn't super visible.

A tragedy! How’s tomorrow look? 🤞
