He was absolutely incredible in that role. Perfect casting.
My head canon on Leguizamo is that he's so dedicated to his craft, when he was Clown in Spawn, he actually took a bite of a real maggot pizza.
Lmfao underrated comment right here
Fantastic interview! He's smart as well as a great actor. This bit stands out to me:
Because the content — Native American, Latino. They keep saying that they want to be inclusive and have us on board, but they don't green-light. They don't green-light our stories. We’re 30% of the box office in America — Latin people — 30% of subscribers on streaming, 30% of the sports fans, and you're not going to have our stories.
It's crazy, man. They're taxing us without representation. We have to do it ourselves. Tyler Perry said it. They're not going to give us a seat to the table. We got to make our own table. I agree.
One of my favorite “b list” actors. I’ll watch most anything he’s in
Me too. Fantastic actor and underrated.
He’s great in The Menu.
To wong foo. Legend
Little Latin boy in drag, why are you crying?
He was even, by far, the best thing about the terrible Spawn movie from the 90s. Absolutely love him
I don't remember much from that movie. Only that it was amazing and John Leguizamo was the best part of it.
Trust me. That's all you really need to remember haha.
If you want to see good Spawn from that era, watch the cartoon. That was well done.
leguizamo has always been gold to me. the guy seems to put everything into his performances. hes always popping up where i least expect him.
Same. I can't recall any role of his where I thought he was bad. Even in bad movies he's a bright spot.
