My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.

Why should we care about what ESA says? They are literally Game Publishers. Preservation is for the art aspects of video game, not for business interests.

I trust ESA, they said loot boxes aren't gambling, they totally care about preservation and consumers.

Their membership is almost entirely large games publishers and they only look out for their best interests and the market.
