Not that long ago the UK wanted to send surveillance planes to help Israel with targetting in Gaza.

Also both the UK and Australia pretty much instantly stopped UNRWA constributions on mere accusations coming from Israel which still now, months later, are yet to be proven, and they have not restored funding to UNRWA. Cutting funding to the UNRWA is making starvation worse in Gaza.

These guys are profound hypocrites and I would be enormously surprised if this, just like the "Hamas must release all hostages in exchange for a pause in hostilities" US resolution at the UN Security Council, was anything more than posturing and stalling whilst Israel continues its "Final Solution for Gaza" off murding by bombing and starving as much as possible of the civilian population.

If you want to see just how much bullshit this is, just notice how little time it took to imposed Sactions on Russia when they invaded Ukraine - an invasion which killed less civilians in 3 years than Israel did in 2 months - and compare it with the complete total absence of even the sugestion of sanction in these guys' calls for a cease fire: it's all "pretty please with cherries on top" when it comes to stopping the Israeli Genocide.

Yeah, they're both colonies. Australia was the blueprint for Apartheid. I speak as an Australian - don't trust these snakes. Penny Wong is an avowed ally to the Zionist project.

The western govts have been very clever with how they were able to co-opt the protest movements that naïvely called for "ceasefire" with no qualifiers whatsoever.

They'll now say Hamas "didn't agree" or whatever BS while hoping the kids starve quietly so no one has to suggest reparations or war crimes tribunals.

THOUSANDS are dead, a generation raised in abject humiliation and suffering, and Israel has solidified its grip on the region whilst learning that it can all but open gas chambers without pushback from its allies.

It's not "fighting" it's a massacre at best and a genocide at truth

The article already mentions this but funny how they suddenly have a stance when the US starts singing a different tune.

Progress I suppose, but like how many nations rely this much on being on good terms with the US, so they'll blindly follow their policy no matter what.

That's what happens when you let a nation become defacto world police for decades.

Good. "Israel" needs to be sanctioned and blockaded until Zionism is wiped off the face of the Earth

Ceasefire isnt enough. We cannot allow a country so hungry for blood to exist to the end of this decade.

How ok would it actually be for other countries to agree to remove one somehow... there'd be few on the same list if Israel would become a precedent

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 months ago

Never happened like that. Normally a country simply stops existing because of some change in government or unification/splitting of a country.

But countries do rescind their recognition of others from time to time. Israel is also an example of this, where it has spent significant money getting neighbours to officially recognise it over Palestine.

The temperature in the room must be getting to hot.
