If Your Time is short:

• Some of Trump’s biggest campaign promises were not enacted, including building a wall and having Mexico pay for it, repealing the Affordable Care Act, and achieving 4% economic growth.

• Other key promises were partially fulfilled, including cutting taxes for every American and eliminating some of President Barack Obama’s immigration policies.

• That said, Trump did implement several key promises, including installing conservative judges, levying tariffs, moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and pulling out of the Paris climate accord.

I'm curious who is downvoting this?
Make yourselves known, and tell us why.

Most people disagree with conservative politics, and that goes doubly so for the fediverse. The voting system is more or less a agree/disagree system. And you are posting this to bolster Trump's image.

Couple those together and it's pretty straightforward why this got downvoted.

Lol I'm posting this to bolster Trump's image? Lmao wat

That’s what the title implies (also doesn’t help you the someone else posted an article that was all in on trump’s promises just before yours)

Many of us are former redditors, and with a glut of content, most people aren’t going to dedicate time to read past the headline.

That's too bad.

Yes you did. Congrats.

This community gets drive by downvotes from the all feed. It’s to be expected conservative politics are deeply unpopular among users on the fediverse. Votes are meaningless anyway, so don’t worry about.

Posts from the typical sources (not that policy is one of those) are usually politically pointed and so they get more downvotes. Peepin has made more neutral posts in the past week and they were upvoted.

Acknowledging that Trump kept any promises at all is fairly conservative, and the downvote button is a disagree button. That's why they're downvoting you, because they disagree with you.

It's a fact checking site. Disagreeing with it doesn't matter.

Liberals don’t like facts. A downvote is important to them as It shows you made them unhappy. Now you see the difference, conservatives like ideas and discussions, liberals like to downvote

We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias.

Pick one. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You guys ban posts that contain facts the moment they don't have confirmation bias.

I don't think you understand. They downvote because they don't like Trump, and thinking Trump did anything good at all is worthy of a downvote.

Welcome to the club, you'll learn to ignore the downvotes.

Because Donald Trump is an oath-breaker. That's the most important promise he made, and that's the one he most flagrantly failed to keep.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

That's the point.

You really think anyone involved with this comm would post this article? I'm surprised it hasn't been removed yet.

I'm also sad people are downvoting it since it's a respectable source.
