Millennial here. I speak boomer. Allow me to translate.

Peasant is always tongue-in-cheek. The word’s antiquated pretension and caricature of disgust strongly implies irony.

So referring to her own economy airfare as “peasant class” is more likely an attempt at self-deprecating humor than actual elitism.

Maybe next time she’ll have to really sell it with “THE POORS” or something lol

Hmm you’re right, probably only 10 years older than me. I didn’t look closely at the face. Will fix.

Edit: I was trying to figure out why I guessed so wrong. Was it humor style? Clothes? But it turns out it was just the 2000s Sarah Palin vibes smh
