This is great news! I was really worried that they’d pull a classic Jagex maneuver and phase out 3PCs without their own plugin hub stood up, but it looks like they’re taking the right steps to ensure parity with Runelite.
At this point, the only way to make people stop using 3rd party clients, is to make a better client them selves, that people would want to use over runelite
Absolutely. The thing is I was worried that they wouldn’t recognize that given their past track record of trying to ban third party software that they didn’t like. They tried it with Runelite and 117HD and the community had to basically grab their cannons and go to Falador both times before Jagex got the message.
