It's very hard to improve things, hard to keep the status quo in the face of those trying to tear it down, and really really easy to take a blowtorch to it. "Not regressing" is fucking huge, and if you doubt that, you need to read more history (the Renaissance started by just getting back to where the Greeks were thousands of years prior)
If every day you push fascism off till the next day, you'll never have fascism .
1% of what you want is literally infinitely more than zero percent. If you don't think 1% matters, I suggest you look up "compound interest".

Dumbass logic. You can neither push away Fascism nor vote it out, as Fascism is literally a product of the Capitalist system.
Also, you're assuming the current status quo is good and must be protected. This is wrong, it should (and has to) be overthrown and replaced by a dictatorship of the proletariat. Only this can stop Fascism by cutting the root of all evil.
