XMPP

I'm thinking of opening an account with them, but I see im their website that they restrict incoming and outgoing calls to 120 minutes a month total. The whole reason I want to start using XMPP is so that I can give my real number out as sparingly as possible, but with only 2 hours a month total I'm not sure ill even be able to do that.

Anyone using JMP? If so how does the limit affect you if at all?

I'm trying to find a client, Windows, Linux or Android, which has Extension Jingle Encrypted Transports (XEP-0396). Anyone has any ideas?

If it has, I assume it would also already have OMEMO (XEP-0384) and Jingle calls (XEP-0166).

Use um cliente XMPP (recomendo Conversations no Android e Gajim no PC), com seu usuário @lemmy.eco.br e sua senha.

I want to try host prosody server over tor network, but can't find any guides for it.

But even without that you should really (!) not use Pidgin or OTR for XMPP.

This blog post, and some of its comments are pretty interesting and concerning at the same time. Not really sure if in the end that means that nothing other than centralized controlled messaging can be as cryptography safe.
