A woman in Adelaide, Australia, got a bizarre kidnapping scare when a shirtless man allegedly tried to snatch her baby out of the pram and breastfeed it. The incident occurred Friday morning on a bus headed down Bridge Road in Gulfview Heights suburb of the South Australian capital city.

Around 8:40 am, the mother raised the alarm with the 502 bus driver, who South Australia Police said alerted the bus depot over radio, informing that the 49-year-old suspect had attempted to grab the infant.

“A fare evader got on the bus and he went to grab the lady’s baby out of her pram,” he said.

“She’s come up to me and said: ‘You’ve got to get this guy off the bus, he’s not good. He’s tried to grab my baby out of the pram and breastfeed (my) baby.’”

Meanwhile, the passenger whom he reported was still on the bus, for which he had not validated or bought a ticket, shirtless and wearing blue-coloured rubber gloves.

The suspect, instead of fleeing, decided to take a seat at the back of the bus, where the driver said he was “sitting quietly”.

The bus pulled over at the next stop, with police inbound, but the man managed to get away before the cops arrived.

However, police confirmed that an investigation was underway into the incident reported on Friday. In fact, they charged a Salisbury East man, 49, with aggravated assault and disorderly behaviour in connection with it.

In addition to the charges, he also faces a three-month ban from using all public transport.

A Burger King near Buffalo, New York temporarily closed over the weekend after a customer found blood in her daughter’s food.

On July 26, New York resident Tiffany Floyd posted a TikTok video about a distressing experience with her four-year-old daughter Matayla at a Burger King in Getzville, New York.

“I heard, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup,’ so I take the bag back thinking that they messed up our order,” she continues, before using her rubber-gloved hand to show her daughter’s burger to the camera. “I look in her bag and there is blood all over her bag, her toys, her fries, everything.”

Floyd says she then pulled over and called Burger King to ask what was going on with her food, and the manager told her that a worker injured his finger right before making and bagging their order, and that if she came back, she could get a refund.

So, she decided to call her local health department and file a report.

The case of a mysterious human finger found in a Tacoma driveway earlier this month has been solved and the digit has been returned to its rightful owner.

During the afternoon of July 5, Tacoma Police Department (TPD) officers responded to a report of a finger found in a driveway in the 800 block of South Pine Street, according to a statement TPD Public Information Officer Detective William Muse sent to MyNorthwest.

Muse provided an update in a statement to MyNorthwest Thursday that a person “saw the story” and called the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office, which had taken custody of the digit, to claim the finger.

The man identified himself by his surname and admitted to losing multiple digits “messing around with some fireworks.” Muse didn’t provide the identity of the man who claimed the finger in his statement. He did explain the latent prints on the recovered finger correspond with the information about the person available in the FBI database.

In his July 5 update, Muse told MyNorthwest there was no blood around the finger and it appeared to have been, possibly, left on the property by an animal, perhaps a bird.

Calls were made to local hospitals, Muse added. But they didn’t report anyone being treated over the Fourth of July holiday for any sort of dismembering injury.
