Do you want skynet? Because this is how we get skynet.
We just need to make sure they require manual refuelling and we'll be fine... so we're totally going to design them to refuel autonomously.

An AI controlled jet fighter is something a step above in force, compared to the dog.
I can imagine a scenario where enough civilians could stop a rogue gundog, that gets tougher with a jet fighter
Skynet sounds friendly. It needs a friendly looking logo.
