Oregano is very little work to grow, at least around here.
It is about as invasive as mint and about as indestructible.
We have a box outside that somehow got a mix of green mint and oregano and while they fight for territory depending on the time of year, they're both thriving. (well... not now, it's -20 with a ton of snow on top, but like, when the outside isn't a freezer, they thrive)
Like... I'll need the weed-wacker to keep both under control and in the box.
TBH, I'm not sure I could even kill those if I tried.

No clue about tarragon, but that would be something nice to try.

That’s good to hear about oregano. I’m going to get a few oregano plants this spring then. I’ve had mint plants before and they are impossible to kill. One of the perfect plants as long as you can keep it under control 🤣
