I took it as the left are normal looking people chatting and the right are wealthy dressed up or business oriented people

Or Democrats are a bunch of robotic, genocidal nerds and Republicans are a bunch of professional, wealthy, genocidal, Aryan, business Nazis. (Genocide context not implied by comic but added by me for a slight improvement on truth.)
