FYI ICYMI, TF2's official servers have been trolled by mass-aimbot farms for a solid 5 years in a row. Today (June 3rd, 2024) the TF2 community is launching the #FixTF2 campaign, to demand that Valve finally do something about it.

This problem goes far beyond TF2, since these bot hosters have proven willing to commit real-world crimes (swatting, doxxing, death threats, impersonation, hacking, DDOSing, etc.), and are heavily implied be mass-aimbotting Counter Strike servers as well, and who knows how many other multiplayer games. The upcoming Deadlock will surely be next, unless Valve finally employs more reliable anticheat measures.
