PixelFed: A free and ethical photo sharing platform.

In the pixelfed webapp you can tag a location (not an #) to your post. But I can't seem to find what it's then used for? I can't see it on the post, only if I press to edit the image and then go to the "other" tab.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to see a list of all my Collections on Pixelfed, and how to edit them. Does anyone know?

Is it possible to have all posts public within an instance, but you have to login to be able to see them? I.e., Private Mode requires you follow someone....idea is that any member of the instance can see all posts, and those that are not would need to login/authenticate somehow.

Right now, seems if you know the profile link or post link, you can see them regardless.

I'm looking for some people to follow on Pixelfed. I currently already follow a webcomic and a couple of photo blogs; but I'd like something else. Anyone got a personal accountɂ̦ or does anyone post videos?

This would seem like a compelling option to replace instagram feeds in websites - idotj has created a great implementation for mastodon, but I cant see anything for pixelfed.
