Hey, can you guys actually do something about this? Kind regards, a citizen of the provinces...

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

y'all know that the gulf monarchies are US protectorates right? not the other way around lmao

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

Most corrupt administration in the history of the USA. Good job flushing our country down the drain MAGA, you complete idiots.

DOJ insists

Via argumentum ad nuh uh.

The trump LIBRARY? What now? Does he have books?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

It's just going to be millions of copies of his unsold books.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I can't rule out that it's just private jets.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Does it lend them out? If it's a public library then those are public Jets.

I wonder what the late fees are like.

The ones to connect the dots and collor...

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Maybe they have a remote detonator installed in it

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

Qatar? No, they're inclined to like people they can buy.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

They're qatari, not zios.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago

Trump just whips out SCOTUS’ presidential immunity ruling. Proof he has no intent of leaving office alive.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 1 day ago (3 children)

This sounds horrible for security. Yeah, let's accept a new Air Force One from a shady foreign state. Surely it's completely safe and not wired at all.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

eh, it's not from israel so it'll probably be fine

[–] [email protected] -3 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Would you use ‘shady’ to describe all foreign states or just the Arab ones?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

I don't think Qatar, after the whole slavery scams and worker deaths that hit the news for the FIFA World Cup, is the one you want to be defending here. They are shady, regardless what region they are in.

Also, false dichotomy. Not all foreign states are shady, some non-Arab foreign states can be shady, and Qatar could still be shady.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Just all shady foreign states. Maybe just the ones murdering journalists and sawing them into little pieces?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The very same foreign government who hacked Jeff Bezos phone and assassinated a US citizen. Both of which happened during Trumps first term.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago (3 children)

No it isn't? That was Saudi Arabia. And Khashoggi wasn't a citizen, just a green card holder. Qatar is mostly known for harbouring the leadership of Hamas

Qatar is mostly known for harbouring the leadership of Hamas

Brave, but I think qatar has a much broader history and current reality than its minimal resistance to genocide.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

It sure does have some history. Even recent history!

[–] [email protected] -3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

What’s wrong with Hamas? Don’t nearly all Western states have favorable relations with Israel despite the illegal occupation since 1967 and the genocide since 2023? Why pick on the Palestinian government in Gaza? Why would Qatar having relations with them be bad?

Also “oil empire”, get real. Unless you mean the USA.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Qatar is absolutely an oil empire. 60% of their GDP comes from oil.

Either way, regardless of what country it comes from, using a gifted plane from a foreign government as air force one is wild.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

And exploiting Indian, Nepalese and Bangladeshi workers for ridiculous high risk construction sites.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Yeah, but every one of the Oil empires does that. They also treat women like shit and fund the bombing of Yemen.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

too bad that, in America, law enforcement sits on the executive branch

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Nobody is enforcing any worthwhile laws. They're literally disappearing people to foreign concentration camps.

americans: imperach president/force them to resign for getting his dick sucked or for getting twitter updates from the opposite party. americans: Shoot a president for being nice

also americans: instead of hanging an rapist felon for attempted coup they elect him into office and sit idly while he abducts and traffics those he thinks of as "subhuman", crashes the entire economy, gets rid of all the us allies and does insanely corrupt shit every day

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 day ago

It's almost like America is the prototypical Fascist nation and always has been. It took a hundred years, but the Business Plot has taken power in the United States.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 day ago

And they can't do anything about it cause it would inconvenience them.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

Really says a lot about what kind of country the US is.
