I am super crazy, out of this world severely hungry and thirsty. I really need at least one kind soul to lend a hand. I have not eaten today at all whatsoever, not even a little bit. Its difficult for me to find the proper words to describe just how thankful I am that there are in fact still people in this world that are REAL and actually care about others when they are in need. I am so absolutely proud to be a part of Hexbear, a community full of individuals who are both generous and kind hearted. So many times I have found myself at complete wits end, ready to give up on life altogether. So many times I have been in complete shambles, balling my eyes out. It's that time of the month again, gotta refill in a couple days, and I'd greatly appreciate it if any generous comrades would like to pitch in!

This is a life saving med for me, and pretty much my biggest monthly expense after food, but I have no source of income right now other than food stamps.

I'm autistic and don't drive, so finding work has been infuriatingly slow going. If anyone would like to help, you'd be doing me a huge solid, even if that's just bumping this thread.

I'm a stroke and thyroid cancer patient going through a disability benefits appeal, so can't afford to buy food. The food bank is difficult and time consuming to access, requiring a referral from a GP or citizens advice (and it can take weeks to get an appointment) and only gives things like tea, coffee, sugar and a small amount of bread and pasta. Never enough to last until I can get another appointment there. So I've been asking for help on here.

Because the DWP (British benefits system employees) will check my bank account if I win my benefit appeal, and I will have to explain any incoming money to them, it's safer for me to receive supermarket gift cards instead of cash where possible. I also have to use these gift cards for other basic items I need such as toilet paper. I usually ask for Sainsburys gift cards, but Sainsburys has had a few technical difficulties with its website for the past three weeks, and due to recovering from foot surgery I can't go and shop in-store right now.

The other supermarket close to me is Marks & Spencer. Someone here gave me a Marks & Spencer gift card, my landlady goes to the local M&S café with her friends so she is able to pick up my shopping for me while she's there. She said the gift card was easy to use. In fact it turned out to be even easier than the Sainsburys gift cards as it didn't require use of the website or printing anything out.

I will need help accessing food for the foreseeable future until my appeal is heard, and sometimes it takes multiple posts here to get a response, so if anyone is able to send me an M&S e-gift card, I would really appreciate it. It can be sent to my email address, [email protected]

For those who didn’t know, I am a 29-year old gamer and college student. I was diagnosed with autism since early age.

Update: So, I just got off the phone with my hopefully future employer. I’ve been trying to get a job with them for about 3 weeks now. They said my start date will likely be Monday the 26th. The payment is due this coming week. Not sure what to do at this point.

I literally have not yet eaten today at all. I am in desperate need of glucose asap before I have a hypoglycemic attack, which involves having continuous seizures until I get enough glucose into my body. Please help me out if at all able. Even just a couple of dollars would be immensely helpful. I am shaking badly right now and I am very, very dizzy. If anyone is not familiar with what hypoglycemia is, I highly encourage you to familiarize yourself.
